As the summer season approaches, the Naperville Park District is gearing up for a busy season and is inviting local job seekers to join its team. The Park District will host two spring hiring events to fill seasonal and part-time positions at various facilities and programs across the district. These events will be held at the Fort Hill Activity Center (20 Fort Hill Drive) from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Monday, March 9, and Thursday, April 2.

Job seekers will have the unique opportunity to speak directly with hiring managers from the Naperville Park District, as well as representatives from the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) and Official Finders. Attendees can learn more about the diverse range of positions available at the Park District and other organizations.

Positions available for the summer season include a variety of roles at some of the Park District’s most beloved facilities, such as Centennial Beach, Paddleboat Quarry, Summer Camps, Park Maintenance, Recreation Programs, Golf Courses, Customer Service, and Custodial Services.

Katie Sepe, the Director of Human Resources, encourages both high school and college students to take advantage of this opportunity to secure flexible summer employment. Additionally, there are part-time opportunities ideal for adults seeking work with a more flexible schedule.

At the events, job seekers will have the chance to ask questions about specific roles, understand the benefits of working with the Naperville Park District, and connect directly with hiring personnel. The Park District offers a range of positions for both seasonal and year-round employment, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

To ensure the best experience at the hiring events, job seekers are advised to visit the Naperville Park District’s employment page at www.napervilleparks.org/employment to review the list of available positions and familiarize themselves with the job descriptions in advance. This proactive step will help make the application process smoother and give attendees a better understanding of the various roles.

The Naperville Park District has long been a cornerstone of the community, providing exceptional recreational opportunities, well-maintained parks, and programs for people of all ages. Whether you’re looking to start your career in recreation, take on a part-time job, or spend your summer helping others enjoy their time outdoors, these hiring events are the perfect way to join a team committed to enhancing the lives of Naperville residents.
